National Schools’ Regatta Charity

supporting junior rowing since 1947.

Since 1947 National Schools' Regatta has been organised by volunteers dedicated to providing as many junior rowers as possible a first class racing opportunity. When the organising team watch the crews pushing off from the landing stage, heading to the START of their first race of the day, it's exciting!  Because we know how important competition is to junior rowers.

Beyond the three day regatta, National Schools' Regatta supports junior rowing by making grants to support junior rowing in clubs and schools across the UK.  The surplus from the National Schools’ Regatta shop sales and the car parking fees is put towards helping schools and rowing clubs with their junior rowing projects.

However the cost of organising our event has increased to over £150,000 and as a not-for-profit organisation run by volunteers, we are committed to ensuring the event remains accessible.  We all work very hard to keep our race entry fees as low as possible to ensure our event is accessible to as many young people as possible.

We are asking junior rowing supports to consider making a donation to support the regatta.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

Parent Donor, Simon says,

"This year's NSR is such an important event for the rowers. It is going to give every young athlete the most positive memory they will have for years. They have lost so much in the past twelve months. So many disappointments over the last year. Separation from their friends and unable to do the sports they love. The NSR is putting on fantastic events under extremely challenging conditions.  I'm happy to help them stream regatta so that every athlete can share the pride and achievement with their friends and family."

The Jeans family donated and said,

“Although our eldest daughter no longer rows as a junior we know the joy of watching her compete at NSR and would like to be a part of providing live streaming so that other parents can enjoy such joy.“

Your support will ensure that the country's biggest junior regatta will be able to continue to give junior rowers a first class racing experience - inspiring us all through their incredible achievements.

We want to thank, most sincerely, the families who have already made a gift and we ask other families to join them, as together we showcase the performances of every junior taking part, as we make their racing experience, safe, fun and first class.
