NSR 2020

We are sad we will not see you all next weekend and wanted to stay connected with you in a small way.  We wanted to bring our #NSR community together across the ages! 

We plan to mark the #NSR2020 weekend by looking back at all the great years of racing.  Desmond Hill OBE founded the regatta in 1947 with the aim to provide as much racing

as possible for juniors and the event has grown from one day event to a three day junior rowing extravaganza!  One of the wonderful characteristics of the regatta is the family atmosphere amongst the spectators alongside the racing, which gives the event the festival atmosphere.  The community of competitors, coaches, parents, volunteers, rowing businesses and universities make the weekend so much fun and importantly everyone is supporting junior rowing.

#NotNSR2020 & #NSRmemories is a small initiative to share what NSR means to us all.  We will be sharing history, fun facts, images, 'wise words' but most importantly, we want to reach out to all the juniors who would have been racing.    Please share your #NSRmemories and if you would like to send in any memories for us to share, do please get in touch!
